Phoenix Spousal Support Mediation

Support terms you both understand let each household move forward with confidence. At Aurit Mediation’s Phoenix office, you and your spouse decide whether spousal maintenance fits, how much, and for how long, with a neutral mediator instead of a judge.

Your mediator uses Arizona’s Spousal Maintenance Guidelines and the official calculator, the same tools courts use, to show a reasonable range. Then you shape payment terms around real budgets, and Aurit puts them into court-ready documents and files them for you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do the guidelines decide the number for us?

The guidelines produce a range for amount and duration. In mediation, you shape the final terms around your real budgets, and your mediator documents the reasons if you choose something different.

No. Arizona decides spousal maintenance without regard to marital misconduct. The court can still consider financial conduct, such as excessive or abnormal spending or hiding shared property.

Yes. Your agreement can set a start date, a payment schedule, review dates, and the events that end or reduce support. Unless your agreement or decree says otherwise, Arizona law ends future maintenance when either spouse dies or the receiving spouse remarries.

Enforcement runs through the court, including Maricopa County’s Support Enforcement Court. If both of you are ready to solve the problem together, mediation can help you agree on a plan.
